What they needed our help with
Turner Engineering is the only UK engine re-manufacturer specialising exclusively in Land Rover, Range Rover, Defender and Discovery engines, short engines, cylinder heads and associated components. They had been growing their e-commerce operation steadily on the Oxatis e-commerce platform which offers legacy support for Sage Integration.
Turner Engineering wanted to realise the many benefots of running their e-commerce business on the Shopify platform but needed to be sure they would have a fully functioning reliable Sage 50 Integration with Shopify as soon as they swicthed e-commerce platforms.
How we helped
Hyperext implemented our HyperShop Connector for Sage 50 Accounts and Shopify initially connected to a Test Sage Company. This allowed Turner Engineering to run test purchases on their new Shopify store to gain confidence that the changeover would be a smooth transition with no need for manual order entry.
Results we achieved
The integration was setup within a few days of order confirmation and the new Shopify site went live on schedule with orders immediately flowing into Sage 50 and stock levels being continuously sync’d from Sage to Shopify. As orders are Dispatched in Sage, the system passes the tracking information from Sage to Shopify and the Customers are instantly notified by email from Shopify that their order is on the way.
With over 2,000 orders successfully fulfilled over the last few months, Turner Engineering are delighted with the growth in their sales and very little additional admin.
