Staff Spotlight: Rameen Software Apprentice

Rameen Software Apprentice Hyperext

Rameen has been with Hyperext for 6 months, bringing fresh perspective and technical expertise to our development team. We sat down with Rameen to get her insights on everything from the daily realities of software development to the importance of human involvement in automation. Her practical approach to problem-solving and client collaboration showcases the next generation of technical talent at Hyperext.

What does a typical day look like in your role?

“My day usually involves expanding my technical knowledge as a software developer and handling support tickets raised by customers. It’s a balance between learning and applying that knowledge to solve real world issues.”

What do you think is the biggest misconception about APIs, automation, or integrations?

“Many assume automation eliminates the need for human involvement, but in reality, developers play a vital role. We’re constantly maintaining systems, refining code, and keeping up with rapid technological changes to ensure everything runs smoothly.”

Tell us about a recent project or challenge you worked on that made a clear impact for a client.

“I recently developed an accounting report for a client’s CRM system. It was a new type of project for me, so I took time to understand the business context. Through client feedback, I saw firsthand how collaboration improves outcomes. In the end, the client was happy and their accounting processes became more streamlined.”

What makes a great integration or software solution in your eyes?

“A great solution often solves a common pain point that hasn’t been properly addressed before. It should make life easier, reduce stress, and save users valuable time.”

What makes Hyperext different from other providers in this space?

“We genuinely care about our customers. Our focus is always on delivering thoughtful, user-centric solutions backed by dedicated support.”

How do you stay up to date with emerging tech and shifting client needs?

“I stay connected with people in the industry, networking and learning from their insights helps me keep pace with change.”

If you could automate any personal task in your life, what would it be?

“Definitely getting ready in the morning! I’d love an invention like Wallace and Gromit’s that gets me dressed and fed automatically.”
