Remedy Fulfiment is a 3rd Party Logisitics company specialising in fulfilment of music industry merchandise and memorabilia. They process around 30,000 orders each month that flow in from a multitude of online marketplaces via Linnworks. However, the financial administration associated with billing for their services had become difficult and time consuming and also heavily reliant on one member of the team who wished to reduce their working hours.
How we helped
Hyperext used our experience of integrating Linnworks using our Sage 50 Accounts API to develop a bespoke automated billing solution that generates one invoice per customer per month and emails these as PDF files attachments along with CSV breakdowns of the many transactions comprising each invoice value.
The results we achieved
Remedy went from spending 1 week per month calculating and generating sales invoces and emailing them to customers, to having all billing completed by the ‘HyperWorks’ integrated billing automation shortly after 8am on the first day of each month. The fully automated process takes around 5 minutes to process around 30,000 tramsactions each month.
This step change in efficiency has allowed Remedy’s financial controller to reduce to part-time hours.
